The solid elm wood piece was constructed using a tra-
ditional frame-building technique, yet features several distinctive details. Based on a dressing table, it can be used both sitting and standing, enabled by a mirror tilted at 3°. The piece can be opened and closed via two flaps, keeping its interior and any clutter concealed from view. Similar to a secretary desk, the front flap serves as a shelf and, thanks to the integrated drop-front hinge, can also be used as a work surface. As the mirror is not permanently fixed but simply inserted into place, it can be removed at any time. This allows the furniture to change its function and effortlessly shift between two typologies.
